Theme for Lock In is Halloween, movies will be shown at the PG-13 level. (the group asked for parents permission to view R rated movies if content was only for violence and theme, not nudity or sexual situations. CYO Summer Pool Party and Lock In

Okay this is late on the CYO blog since I was told most are over on Facebook. However for those that are not on Facebook...sorry this is late.

The Pool Party is this Saturday 11 July 12:00 to 5:00pm followed by mass at the Nellis Chapel then over to the Main Chapel for the Lock In. The Lock In will start right after mass and go until 07:00 Sunday Morning.

Food is Pot Luck so bring whatever...

Food will be provided at Pool Party (hamburgers and hotdogs, snacks)

Food being provided at lock in:

Italian
- Ziti w/meatballs and sausage
American
- Chicken Tenders
Asian
- Sushi (california rolls)

- Snacks (chips, pretzels, and stuff)


Bring change of clothes and CYO shirt to wear to church.

Also bring water weapons for watergun fight.

Usual and other sports will be played.

Bring ur games, video game consoles and DVDs to watch.

Camping Trip

Okay guys....only a few days away until CYO under the stars!

Here is an initial list for what to bring:

-Change of clothes (several)
-bathing suits (you will get wet!)
-Sleeping bags/blankets
-suntan lotion/sunscreen
-bug spray
-Camping stuff (whatever you want to bring)
-flashlight (make sure you bring your own)
-personal items (soap, shampoo, medication, etc, etc)
-extra money for personal items
-sneakers/running shoes (not just flipflops)
-boogie boards/body boards
-water stuff (snorkels, etc)

Optional:
Tent (if you have your own favorite tent, feel free to bring it)
Snacks (we will have a place to put food stuff)

Paintball: We might be playing paintball, if time permits. Pls bring protective clothing such as old cammie tops, sweatshirts, bottoms, etc. Also we will provide for the initial play, any extra play for paintballs will have to be provided by the players. (i.e. you can bring own paintballs, or purchase them there))



Bottomline: You will be wet, sweaty, dirty sometime during the weekend; all this while having fun.


We will add to this as we get closer.

UPDATE:

Kids should be dropped off @ 1700 (5pm) at Bellows Campsite L&M, Right after the Miniture Golf course on the left hand side of road. Bellows has closed the public access so if for some reason you cannot get on, let them know you are attending the Camping trip. We will camp starting on Friday night at 1700 to Sunday at 1200. Attendees should provide own transportation to and from. If for some reason you do not have a ride please contact either myself or Jim Gumbo Coughlin. If a child has an event and he/she will be late or picked up early pls let us know as soon as possible.

Permission slip is on blog and attached to email, pls bring signed permission slip when dropping off child. SLIP IS MANDATORY.

i'm so glad lent is over.

This should be a lot of fun. I was thinking we could meet at the Chapel and car pool. Let me know if you want to go to this. It will be 4 Apr. It is a shame we won't have our shirts by then.
